Place of Prophet Hazrat Illyas (R.A)

A Prophet of the past. The Qur’an mentioned him twice, but gives no indication of the period when he was sent. Hadith literature also does not add any information. Most scholars have placed him after Musa (asws) based on the Qur’anic information that his people were worshippers of Ba`l, a popular Israeli deity.
