Singer Janet Jackson had a widely celebrated wedding to billionaire
Wissam Al Mana six months ago. It has been reported that Janet Jackson
has moved to the Middle East and converted to Islam and changed her name
to Jannat. It was reported in US media that Hollywood superstar Janet
Jackson is quitting the entertainment industry and is going to leave the
country and will lead a Muslim life. Recently she was spotted in an
Islamic Abaya in Qatar. She also has left the
music industry entirely, and become tired of the grueling entertainment
industry. Janet Jackson says she wants to leave music is so that she
and her husband can live a private life away from the media. Al Mana
made his fortune through the Al Mana Retail group,
which is owned and controlled by his family. The couple who started
dating in 2010 was wed secretly last year, with Janet revealing the
wedding details to Entertainment Tonight in February. Last year we were
married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony.
Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective
favourite children's charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is
respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy.
Wissam is Janet's third husband. Jannet Jackson
was married briefly to James DeBarge in the '80s and Réne Elizondo in
the '90s. Janet Jackson is the sister of legendary ‘King of Pop’ Michael
Jackson. Her sibling Jermaine Jackson had converted to Islam back in
1989 after a tour of Middle East and become
Muhammad Abdul-Aziz. Jermaine Jackson was also reported in media in
2008 that the King of Pop had converted to Islam. Many newspapers also
wrote that Michael Jackson was buried according to Islamic teachings and
his elder brother Jermaine Jackson played important
role in MJ’s conversion to Islam and his funerals.
