Tamil Actor “Jai” Convert to Islam

After Tamil music director Yuvan Shanker Raja & Tamil actress Monkia, it’s time for Tamil actor Jai who converts to Islam and was seen in Chennai mosque praying with musician Yuvan. However; Time of India already reported Jai increasing interest in Islam on April 19, 2014. After music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has embraced Islam on his social networking site, now its turn to Jai who have been following strong values of Islam quite sometimes. A close source of the actor elaborates; Jai has been following Islam for the past one year. Even though Jai had even kept the fast during Ramzan last year, and since then, has been visiting the dargah every Friday without fail. We don’t know the actual reason behind his change of mind. All we know is that he has been following the religion and has not officially converted yet. And also, he has not changed his name.

Meanwhile, the actor also hinted about his attraction to Islam in his messenger site, where his status read “Alhamdhulillah”, which in turn sparked off the conversion rumors. Though, when contacted the actor, he said, “I haven’t converted to Islam.” But according to Muslim Mirror has got few exclusive photos of Jai who was spotted with musician Yuvan Sankar Raja while praying at Chenni T.Nagar Anjuman masjid. Jai is one of the most popular sought after actor in Tamil film industry. But reports are confirming that it has been confirmed that after Tamil composer Yuvan Shanker Raja and actress Monika, actor Jai has also converted to Islam. Music genius and Oscar winner AR Rahman has also converted to Islam.

 

Tamil actress Monika converts to Islam and quits Film Industry

The popular Tamil film actress Monika who is famous for her films like “Azhagi” and “Silanthi” has converted to Islam and her new name is M G Rahima. The inspired actress has acted in over 70 films as heroine and as a child artist. Monika started her filmy career as a child artist in Avasara Police 100. She is also popular in other South Indian film industries like Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Monika’s parents are Christians and the actress says hereafter she won’t be acting in films now. 

She says; there is no selfishness in her decision to convert to Islam. I don’t convert for the sake of love of money; I’m not such a person. I really like the Islamic values, principles which inspired me to convert to Islam. She’s very happy in which she declared about her decision to adopt her new faith. The actress is also planning to marry and that decision will be arranged with the consent of my parents and I’ll intimate media once it will be arranged. Hereafter I won’t act in the film, it gives some pain but I don’t change my mind now. She’s really thankful to his father for his support and I’m not convinced to change my. But I’ll change my name is M.G.Raheema (M + Maruthi Raj (father), G-Gracy (mother)). The actress has also  issued her new photographs in Islamic Abaya.
